When we bought our house, it came with a second unfinished master bedroom and bathroom. The previous owners had built the house, but weren’t able to complete the build. Since the house already had a finished master bedroom, we left the second one untouched for awhile.
A few years after we purchased the house, we got together with a talented friend at Handy Andy Remodeling, and were able to finish what the previous owners had started, but with our own personal touch. We completed both the second master bedroom and the on suite bathroom.
I really love how the bathroom turned out. I was inspired from a master bathroom I had seen on Pinterest from Irwin Builds. Their’s was quite a bit larger than ours, but I really loved the color scheme of grays and warm wood tones.
Every time I do any painting or decorating in the house, I search the internet for pictures to reinforce my decisions. Thus I wanted to give back to the community that helps inspire me with a few pictures of the new bathroom, with the wall color of On the Rocks SW 7671 by Sherwin Williams. I only wish that I was better at bathroom photography 😆, you can see my lovely reflection in that first picture. Hey, I tried!
The mirror we had to get custom made on Etsy, because I was adamant that it match the hardwood floors in the attached bedroom. Shockingly, I had a horrible time finding a plain wood mirror that we could stain our selves, so I commissioned ShoebridgeAndCo to help.
