By far one of the best campsites I’ve ever stayed at. The campsite was HUGE, with it’s own private beach. I would say waterfront or nothing on these sites. We parked up at the top, there was a middle section with a fire ring and picnic table, and then further down the private beach that felt like the ocean more than a lake with the waves rolling in. Was perfect for a paddle and to watch the sunset.
There were bathrooms but no showers, and no hookups. Fine for us, we have all we need with the van.
We stayed at Site 35, STON loop, in Sam Owen Campground, Hope, Idaho on Lake Pend Oreille. Loved and will 100% be back!
For the digital nomads out there, there was no cell service at the park, but if you drive down the road a few miles you can get service. Still worth it!
